Disney's Wilderness Lodge closed along with the rest of Walt Disney World in March, 2020. When Disney World reopened in July 2020, the Lodge did not follow suit. But, Disney's Wilderness Lodge will reopen completely in June 2021, and we have the details!
Disney announces a room-only discount for most nights during the holiday season beginning November 6 and running through December 23. Rooms are limited so book now! Guests at both the Villas and the Wilderness Lodge can get a 20 percent discount on rooms on select nights.
Some of the on-going construction at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is related to the Disney Vacation Club Villas, most notably the complete removal and rebuilding of the Hidden Springs Pool. The Silver Springs Pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is set to close on September 3 for a major refurbishment and will reopen in late November. Guests of the resort will be able to use the pools at two other Disney resort hotels during the refurbishment.
