We love Whispering Canyon Cafe whether we're eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner! But now, there's a new item that isn't quite on the menu (yet) that you just have to check out! The 10-Gallon Challenge Sundae is currently in a "test" phase, so while you might not see it on the menu you can order it.

Artist Point, the Signature Dining restaurant at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, is hosting a special wine dinner on January 19 showcasing wines from Oregon and seasonal dishes. Mary Joli from Willamette Valley Vineyards will be at the dinner to guide guests through the wine pairings.
It's the holiday season and Disney's Wilderness Lodge has some special food and drink options for guests. You'll find fun treats in the lobby, at Roaring Fork, Territory Lounge, and the Trout Pass Pool Bar! And the Territory Lounge is once again transformed into a temporary coffee bar from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. every day.

Some of the on-going construction at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is related to the Disney Vacation Club Villas, most notably the complete removal and rebuilding of the Hidden Springs Pool. A portion of the rooms located in the main hotel are also being renovated as DVC rooms. The whole area is getting a new name.
The construction continues at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and over on our Facebook page we've had some questions about how the construction will affect upcoming stays at the resort. Based on the photos we just received from our friend Scott Jensen we think it's safe to say that you'll definitely notice that there is construction happening.
